Our Story

We get that question all the time.

 

Pat was the original founder of Pat’s, a small sandwich shop in Pennsville, New Jersey. In 1974, Pat decided to move back to Italy and sold the business to three cousins from Greece who had been working alongside him in the shop. Tony, Joe, and John (pictured) took over that spring and quickly added pizza to the menu — and to the name. That’s when Pat’s Pizza was born.

 

As our family grew, so did the business. More cousins, uncles, nephews, and eventually sons joined the family operation, opening additional locations in neighboring communities. Through every chapter of growth, one thing never changed: our commitment to serving fresh, delicious food to the communities we call home.

 

Over the years, our menu has expanded far beyond pizza and sandwiches. While the menu has evolved, our values have not. We remain rooted in quality, tradition, and using the freshest ingredients possible.

 

We’re proud of where we started, grateful for how far we’ve come, and excited to continue serving our communities for many years to come.
